Glasgow 1770 No Nonsense Whisky PX Sherry Cask
Hello! it’s with great pleasure that I introduce a new collaboration between No Nonsense Whisky and The Glasgow Distillery, one of my favourites of the new wave of whisky distilleries in Scotland.
Their Peated Cask Strength release was named my Whisky Of The Year in 2023, and this one is another absolute treat.

Filled: 22nd of May 2018 with Glasgow Distillery’s rich and smoky peated spirit (50ppm)
Initial maturation: 4 years and 6 months in virgin American white oak from Kelvin Cooperage, Kentucky.
Secondary maturation: 1 year and 4 months in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask, from the prestigious winery, Ximénez-Spínola.
Bottled: 8th of April 2024 at natural cask strength.
