Specially curated for autumn, we're excited to release the latest Glasgow 1770 Small Batch Series bottlings.

Three new limited edition peated single malts are available from today: Glasgow 1770 Islay Cask Finish, Glasgow 1770 Madeira Cask Finish, and Glasgow 1770 Marsala Wine Cask Matured.

Glasgow 1770 Madeira Cask Finish Batch 01 (Peated), 58% ABV

The contents of a single finishing cask, this six-year-old release showcases our peated single malt that has initially been filled into a virgin American oak cask before a finishing period of one year and eleven months in a Madeira wine cask. This combination offers notes of rich smoke with apricot jam, orange peel, tobacco and ginger cake.

Glasgow 1770 Islay Cask Finish Batch 01 (Peated), 57.3% ABV

The contents of a single finishing cask, this six-year-old release has been distilled from malted barley imbibed with mainland peat smoke. This whisky has been finished in a refill bourbon hogshead that previously held peated single malt from an Islay distillery. 

Mainland peat offers sweet smoke and campfire notes, and Islay’s cask influence offers citrus and salinity. The result of combining the two in this unique bottling is an intriguing and thought-provoking smoky release packed with notes of honey, tropical fruit, sea salt, and sweet smoke.

Glasgow 1770 Marsala Wine Cask Batch 01 (Peated), 60.2% ABV

Here we have a cask strength, seven-year-old, limited edition peated single malt. A marriage of three sister casks, which were filled in August 2017 and left to mature for seven years, this bottling is presented at cask strength and limited to 860 bottles. Expect notes of rich toffee apple, smoky bacon, salted caramel and stone fruit.
